They got so excited about the location at Boca Brava, how nice they were treated by the Panamanian Government and local people, and the wild fishing experience that it grew into the "CLUB". Panama Big Game Fishing Club is located on Isla Boca Brava, just 1 hour from Panama's second largest city. David, Chiriqui offers all the major conveniences of most cities but moves to the slower beat of the tropics with its warm and friendly people. Fishing Fish Hannibal Bank, Isla Coiba, Montuosa and more of the many Panamanian Pacific islands from a land-based operation. Enjoy the great fishing and exotic beauty of this area in the comfort and style you are accustom to. In the early morning hours after a hearty breakfast you will board one of our twin Diesel Sportfisherman with an experienced Captain and Mate. Fishing is good year round due to the many sea mounds and banks that bring the bottom up from a 1000 meters to less than 40 meters. These areas hold a lot of baitfish. January through April has a strong population of billfish with Black Marlin and Sailfish available year round. Also Dolphin in the 50 lb class, wahoo, yellow fin tuna, roosterfish, along with local snapper and grouper fill out the catch. The Club’s goal is simple - "work hard to keep you with a bent rod while fishing and excellent service with mouth watering dining back at the Panama Big Game Fishing Club.” Accommodations We don't rough it here. A tropical pathway takes you to your private central air-conditioned 600 square foot cottage, beautifully appointed with all the comforts of a world-class lodge in a remote jungle atmosphere. These new first class cottages sleep up to six comfortably. Our anglers’ clubhouse features a bar, lounge and dining room with a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and offshore Islands. Dining The two owners also have had award winning seafood restaurants in Miami, Florida. The "Port of Call" seafood house and the still active "Tunas'" of North Miami Beach, Florida. With over 30 years experience in the restaurant business, you will be sure each day will be a great dining experience.
