The lodge grounds approximate almost 5 square miles, including over a mile of lakefront on Lago Rosselot, over 3.5 miles of frontage on the Rio Figueroa and its own spring creek. The beauty, serenity and remoteness of the area are an unanticipated bonus. It is a wilderness area with very little infrastructure. Numerous other lakes, streams and rivers surround this deluxe facility. The location is designed to cater to the die-hard angler. If fishing is your primary goal, a stay at EL PATAGON is certainly a must. The lodge consistently fishes 6 rivers, 4 lakes and saltwater estuaries. These waters are home to rainbow, brown, and brook trout. In addition, sea-run browns, coho, king and Atlantic salmon ply these waters. Abundant water flow in the spring allows us to float the smaller rivers and as the season progresses, low water levels encourage wading. If you also wish to experience a pristine Chilean forest in the middle of nowhere, this is the best place to do it. El Patagon was designed to comfortably accommodate eight guests. There are four separate cabins. Each cabin has a full bath with shower, built-in closets and a wood burning stove.
